Getting Started with ChatGPT

Create an account, send your first prompt, and learn the basics of conversing with ChatGPT.

Go to chat.openai.com and sign up with your email, Google, or Apple account. The free tier gives you access to GPT-3.5.

Type a question or instruction in the text box and press Enter. ChatGPT will respond in a conversational format.

If the answer isn't quite right, ask follow-up questions or say "make it shorter" or "explain like I'm five" to refine the response.

Click "New Chat" in the sidebar to start fresh. Each conversation is independent — ChatGPT won't remember previous chats unless you enable Memory.
