    Google Voice setup (FREE)

    1. Go to voice.google.com.
    2. Sign in with Gmail.
    3. Pick a number (search by area code).
    4. Verify your real cell number.
    5. Get a US number. Free forever.
    6. Calls forward to your real cell, OR ring inside Google Voice app.
    7. Texts in app or as email.

    Physical burner phone (rare)

    If you really need a separate phone (escaping abuse):

    • Walmart Tracfone or Family Mobile — $30-50, prepaid SIM.
    • Pay cash. Don't register your real name.
    • Buy at store far from home/work.
    • Don't link to your real email or accounts.
