    iPhone color filters (built-in)

    1. Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size.
    2. Tap "Color Filters" → toggle ON.
    3. Pick your type: Protanopia (red-blind), Deuteranopia (green-blind), Tritanopia (blue-blind).
    4. Slider adjusts intensity.
    5. Triple-click side button for quick toggle.

    Android color correction

    1. Settings → Accessibility → Visibility enhancements.
    2. Tap "Color correction" → ON.
    3. Choose color blindness type.
    4. Or "Color inversion" if useful.

    Common challenges + workarounds

    • Traffic lights — position matters more than color (top = red, bottom = green).
    • LED indicator lights — confusing red/green. Check device manual for blink patterns.
    • Charts/graphs — ask for patterns or labels, not just colors.
    • Maps with red/green — Google Maps has accessibility-friendly color modes.
    • Cooking meat doneness — use thermometer, not color.
    • Banana ripeness — feel for firmness.
