    Bigger Text Everywhere

    Stop squinting.

    iPhone — bigger text

    1. Settings → Display & Brightness → Text Size.
    2. Slide RIGHT for bigger text.
    3. For MUCH bigger: Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size → Larger Text → ON.
    4. Drag slider far right — extra-large.
    5. Bold Text ON — easier to read.

    iPhone — bigger icons

    1. Settings → Display & Brightness → Display Zoom.
    2. Tap "Larger Text".
    3. Phone restarts.
    4. Apps + buttons + icons all bigger.
    5. iPhone effectively becomes simpler phone.

    Android — bigger text

    1. Settings → Display → Font Size + Display Size.
    2. Slide both right.
    3. Display Size makes EVERYTHING bigger.
    4. Font Size makes text only.
    5. Settings → Accessibility for additional options.

    Other senior-friendly tweaks

    • iPhone Reduce Motion — Settings → Accessibility → Motion → Reduce Motion ON.
    • Increase Contrast — Accessibility → Display & Text Size → Increase Contrast.
    • Bold Text — same menu.
    • Button Shapes — outlines text-only buttons.
    • Smart Invert — dark mode for some screens.
    • VoiceOver — phone reads everything aloud (for severe vision).

    Settings change everywhere

    When you set bigger text, ALL apps that respect the setting use it. Mail, Messages, Settings, Notes — all get bigger together. Apps that ignore it (some old apps) — replace if possible.
