    Free Word — works anywhere.

    What it is

    Free word processor in your browser. Works like Microsoft Word but free + auto-saves to cloud. Use on phone, iPad, computer — same document everywhere.

    Get started

    1. Go to docs.google.com.
    2. Sign in with Google account (Gmail = same).
    3. Click "+ Blank" to start new doc.
    4. Type — auto-saves every few seconds.
    5. Find document later at docs.google.com.

    Senior-friendly settings

    • View → Zoom → bigger text on screen.
    • Format → Text → Size → 14 or 16pt.
    • Use Title + Heading styles — auto-formats nicely.
    • Voice typing — Tools → Voice typing — speak instead of type.
    • Spellcheck on by default.

    Share with family

    1. Click "Share" button (top right).
    2. Type their email address.
    3. Pick: Viewer, Commenter, OR Editor.
    4. Click Send.
    5. They get email with link.
    6. Multiple people can edit AT SAME TIME — see each other typing.
