    How to Connect to Wi-Fi on Mac

    Get your Mac online by connecting to a wireless network quickly and easily.

    Click the Wi-Fi icon

    Find the Wi-Fi icon in the menu bar at the top-right of the screen and click it.

    Turn on Wi-Fi

    If Wi-Fi is off, click the toggle to turn it on. Available networks will appear.

    Select your network

    Click on your network name from the list of available networks.

    Enter password

    Type your Wi-Fi password and click Join. Check "Remember this network" for automatic connections.

    Warning

    Wi-Fi passwords are case-sensitive. Double-check capitals and special characters. The password is usually on a sticker on your router.

    Verify connection

    The Wi-Fi icon should show solid bars. Open Safari to confirm internet access.
