How to Order Printed Photos from Google Photos

Google Photos can print your photos and ship them directly to your door. Order standard prints, photo books, canvas prints, and more — all from your phone.

Open the Google Photos app on your phone. Browse your library to find the photo you'd like to print. Tap the photo to open it in full screen. Make sure the photo is a good quality image — photos taken close up in good lighting will print better than dark, blurry, or very distant shots.

For 4x6 prints, nearly any photo taken on a modern phone will look great. For larger sizes (8x10 or canvas), use the clearest, highest-quality photo you have.

Find the Print or Shop option

With the photo open, tap the three-dot menu icon in the top right corner (or the Share button). Look for "Order Print" or "Print." On some versions of the app, tap the plus (+) or create icon, then look for "Print" or "Photo products." The exact location of this option may vary slightly by app version.

Choose your print type and size

A shop page will open showing available products for your photo — standard prints, canvas, photo books, and more. Tap "Prints" for standard photo prints, then choose your size (4x6, 5x7, or 8x10). You'll see a price per print and can set the quantity you want.

Review and adjust your order

Review the preview of your print to make sure the cropping and orientation look correct. Some products may let you adjust the crop. Set the quantity using the plus/minus buttons. When satisfied, tap "Add to Cart" or "Continue."

Warning

Check the photo orientation before ordering. If your photo is horizontal (landscape) and you order a portrait-oriented print, it may be cropped in a way you don't expect.

Enter your shipping address and pay

Enter the delivery address where you want the prints shipped. Confirm your payment method (Google uses the card linked to your Google account). Review the order total including shipping costs. Tap "Place Order" to complete your purchase. You'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number once your order ships.

Payment:

You'll pay with the credit or debit card linked to your Google account (the same one used for Google Play purchases). If no card is on file, you'll be prompted to add one.

The availability of print products may vary by region. The service is operated through Google's partner Chatbooks for photo books and other specialty items.
