    Create a Free Swagbucks Account

    Go to swagbucks.com or download the Swagbucks app from the App Store or Google Play. Click "Join for Free" and sign up using your email address or Facebook account. After confirming your email, you will often receive a small welcome bonus of SB just for signing up. Make sure to confirm your email — unconfirmed accounts cannot redeem rewards.

    Earn SB by Shopping Through the Portal

    Go to the "Shop" section in Swagbucks and search for a store you already plan to buy from — such as Amazon, Walmart, or a clothing retailer. Click the "Shop now" button to open that store's website through the Swagbucks portal. Complete your purchase as normal. Within a few business days, SB will be added to your account based on how much you spent and that store's current rate.

    Take Surveys and Complete Offers

    Click the "Surveys" tab to see available surveys. Each survey lists an estimated time and SB reward. Surveys usually pay between 40 and 200 SB and take 5 to 20 minutes. You will not qualify for every survey — some have specific demographic requirements — but the app will tell you quickly if you are not a match so you can move on.

    Complete Your Daily Goal for a Streak Bonus

    Swagbucks sets a small daily SB goal for you — usually between 10 and 50 SB depending on your activity level. Completing your daily goal earns extra SB through a streak system: the longer your consecutive daily streak, the bigger the streak bonus. Check the app each day and do at least one small activity to keep your streak going.

    Redeem Your SB for Gift Cards or PayPal Cash

    When you have at least 300 SB (the minimum for most gift cards), tap the "Redeem" tab. Browse available gift cards or choose PayPal cash. Select the reward you want, confirm the amount, and submit. Gift cards are usually delivered to your email within 10 business days, though many arrive within a day or two. PayPal cash takes a few days to process.
