If an exercise causes pain rather than the normal effort of exertion, tap the skip button to move to the next exercise. Pain is a signal to stop, not push through. Modify or skip any exercise that doesn't feel right for your body.

One of the most common barriers to exercising is feeling like you need to commit to a long, intense session or it doesn't count. Sworkit was built around the opposite idea: any amount of movement is valuable, and a workout should fit your life rather than the other way around.
Sworkit is a fitness app that lets you choose exactly how long you want to work out — anywhere from 5 minutes to 60 minutes — and then delivers a guided workout for that exact duration. You choose your goal (strength, cardio, flexibility, yoga), your available time, and whether you have any equipment. Sworkit builds the session and guides you through every exercise with video demonstrations.
The app covers hundreds of exercises that don't require gym equipment: push-ups, squats, lunges, planks, jumping jacks, yoga flows, and stretching routines. For people who have some equipment at home, Sworkit also includes workouts using resistance bands, dumbbells, and kettlebells.
Sworkit is particularly accessible for beginners and returning exercisers because every exercise includes a video demonstration with form cues, and the app always offers alternative movements for people who can't perform a particular exercise due to fitness level or physical limitations. You're never forced into an exercise that doesn't work for your body.
The free version of Sworkit gives you access to a limited selection of workouts and a handful of full programs. The Sworkit Premium subscription ($9.99 per month or $47.99 per year) unlocks the full library of workouts, personalized programs, and additional features including a kids' fitness section.
Sworkit works on iPhone and Android. It also integrates with Apple Health, Google Fit, and Fitbit, automatically syncing your workout data to whichever health platform you use.
