Watch Later is YouTube's built-in list for videos you want to watch but do not have time for right now. It is like a personal queue — save something with one tap and come back to it tonight, tomorrow, or next weekend.
Watch Later is automatically in every YouTube account. You do not need to create it — it is always there under your Library tab. Everything you save to Watch Later is private — only you can see the list.
The Watch Later list syncs across all your devices. Save a video on your phone and you can watch it on your computer or TV later.
Watch Later is different from "Liked videos." Liking a video (thumbs up) saves it to your Liked Videos playlist as a public appreciation. Watch Later is strictly a personal, private viewing queue that you can clear without any public impact.
You can add any video to Watch Later — whether you found it in search results, on the YouTube home page, or on a channel you follow. The clock icon or Save option appears on every video.
