Tips for supporting a tech learner
Sit side-by-side rather than taking over — help them do it, don't do it for them.
Celebrate small wins. "You connected to Wi-Fi by yourself!" matters a lot.
Write down steps on a notepad in large writing and leave it by the device.
Suggest they start with TekSure's Beginner Basics path — just 5 short guides.
Patience is the most important skill. What takes you seconds may take them minutes — that's OK.
Set up a regular "tech time" together — 30 minutes a week makes a huge difference.
Book help for someone you care for
You can book a TekSure technician session on behalf of a family member. Just mention in the notes that it's for someone else and we'll tailor our approach.
