If you have Allstate insurance — whether for your car, home, or both — the Allstate mobile app lets you manage almost everything without picking up the phone. You can pay your bill, pull up your insurance card, check your policy details, and report an accident all from your smartphone.
The app is free to download and works on both iPhone and Android. You sign in with your Allstate account — the same username and password you might use on the Allstate website. If you do not have an online account yet, you can create one inside the app using your policy number.
One of the most popular features is the digital insurance card. Instead of searching through your glove box after an accident, you can show the officer your insurance information right on your phone screen. The card shows your policy number, vehicle information, and coverage dates.
The app also includes a feature called Drivewise, which monitors your driving habits through your phone's sensors. If you drive safely — braking smoothly, not speeding — you can earn discounts on your premium. Participation is optional.
For claims, you can start the process right from the app by answering questions about what happened, uploading photos of the damage, and tracking the status of your claim. This can save a lot of time compared to waiting on hold.
Whether you are a long-time Allstate customer or recently signed up, spending a few minutes setting up the app can save you time and stress the next time you need your insurance information.
