Download the app and sign in

    ~21s
Search for "Allstate Mobile" in your phone's app store and install it. Open the app and tap "Log In." Enter the email address and password you use for your Allstate online account. If you have never set up an online account, tap "Create Account" and follow the steps. You will need your policy number, which is printed on any letter from Allstate.
    2

    Find your digital insurance card

    ~29s
After logging in, tap "My Policies" or look for a card icon on the home screen. Tap your auto policy to open it. You will see a button or tab labeled "Insurance Card" or "ID Card." This shows all the information an officer or another driver would need after an accident. You can also save the card as a PDF to email to yourself.

    Quick Tip

Quick Tip: Take a screenshot of your insurance card and save it to your phone's camera roll so it is available even without internet access.

    3

    Pay your bill

    ~18s
Tap "Payments" or "Billing" from the app's main menu. You will see your current balance and due date. Tap "Make a Payment" to pay with a bank account or debit card. You can also set up automatic payments so your bill is paid on the same day each month without you having to remember.
    4

File a claim after an accident

    ~28s
If you have been in an accident or your home was damaged, tap "File a Claim" from the home screen. Answer the questions about what happened, when, and where. You can take photos of the damage right in the app and upload them. After you submit, you will receive a claim number and can track the status in the app.

    Warning

Do not admit fault or make promises to anyone at an accident scene. When you report the claim to Allstate, stick to the facts of what happened.

    Explore roadside assistance

    ~24s
If your policy includes roadside help, the app has a dedicated button to request help. Tap "Roadside Help" and share your location. You can request a tow truck, a jump start, or help with a flat tire. The app shows you when help is on the way and tracks their arrival.

    Quick Tip

Quick Tip: Save the Allstate roadside help number (1-800-ALLSTATE) in your phone contacts so you can reach help even if the app is not loading.

If you have Allstate insurance — whether for your car, home, or both — the Allstate mobile app lets you manage almost everything without picking up the phone. You can pay your bill, pull up your insurance card, check your policy details, and report an accident all from your smartphone.

The app is free to download and works on both iPhone and Android. You sign in with your Allstate account — the same username and password you might use on the Allstate website. If you do not have an online account yet, you can create one inside the app using your policy number.

One of the most popular features is the digital insurance card. Instead of searching through your glove box after an accident, you can show the officer your insurance information right on your phone screen. The card shows your policy number, vehicle information, and coverage dates.

The app also includes a feature called Drivewise, which monitors your driving habits through your phone's sensors. If you drive safely — braking smoothly, not speeding — you can earn discounts on your premium. Participation is optional.

For claims, you can start the process right from the app by answering questions about what happened, uploading photos of the damage, and tracking the status of your claim. This can save a lot of time compared to waiting on hold.

Whether you are a long-time Allstate customer or recently signed up, spending a few minutes setting up the app can save you time and stress the next time you need your insurance information.
