How to Download Disney+ Movies and Shows for Offline Viewing

Open the Disney+ app

Download the Disney+ app from the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play Store (Android) if you do not already have it. Sign in to your Disney+ account.

Find content to download

Browse or search for a movie or TV show. On the title's detail page, look for a download button — it looks like a downward arrow or a cloud with an arrow. Tap it to start saving. For TV shows, you can download individual episodes or an entire season.

Most Disney+ content is downloadable. You will see the download icon on nearly everything, including Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and animated classics.

Choose your download quality

Before downloading, you can choose video quality to balance file size vs. picture clarity. Go to your ProfileApp SettingsDownloadsVideo Quality. "Standard" uses less space; "High" looks better but takes more storage.

Access your downloads

Tap the Downloads icon at the bottom of the app (the arrow icon). All your saved titles appear here. Tap any movie or episode to watch — no internet needed.

Delete downloads when done

Downloads take up storage space on your device. To remove them, go to Downloads → tap the pencil icon → select titles → Delete. Or tap a specific title → the download icon (it will now show as filled) → Delete Download.

Downloads expire after 30 days, or 48 hours after you start watching. Re-download if you need more time.
