    How to Download Movies and Shows for Offline Viewing

    Download content on Netflix

    Open the Netflix app on your phone or tablet. Find a show or movie and tap the download icon (a downward arrow) next to the title or episode. Downloaded content appears in the "Downloads" section accessible from the menu.

    Download content on Disney+

    Open the Disney+ app and find a movie or episode. Tap the download icon below the title. Go to "Downloads" at the bottom of the screen to see your downloaded content and watch it offline.

    Download content on Amazon Prime Video

    Open the Prime Video app and find a title. Tap the download icon (arrow pointing down) on the episode or movie. Go to "My Stuff" then "Downloads" to access offline content.

    Manage your storage

    Downloaded videos take up significant storage space on your device — a one-hour show can use 1 to 3 GB. Check your phone's storage regularly (Settings, then General, then Storage on iPhone). Delete watched downloads to free up space.

    Know the expiration rules

    Downloaded content expires after a set period — typically 30 days from download, or 48 hours after you start watching. The app will warn you before expiration. You must be connected to the internet at least once every 30 days to keep downloads active.
