    Look at the star breakdown on any product or business page. A trustworthy product usually has a mix of ratings — some 5s, some 4s, some 3s, and a few 1s. If almost every review is exactly 5 stars with very few others, that is a red flag.

    Look for verified purchase badges

    On Amazon, look for the "Verified Purchase" label under a reviewer's name. This means Amazon confirmed the reviewer actually bought the item. Reviews without this label should be given less weight.
