Download the Instant Pot app

Install the free Instant Brands Connect app (the newer version) or the older Instant Pot app from the App Store or Play Store. Create an account with your email.

Search for recipes

Type any main ingredient ("chicken," "rice," "chili") and the app shows tested recipes with cook times, ingredient lists, and photos. Each recipe says which size Instant Pot it works for.

Save favorites

Tap the heart on any recipe to save it. Your saved list becomes your personal cookbook that you can pull up anytime, even offline.

Connect a Smart model

If your Instant Pot is a Smart model (Pro Plus or Duo Crisp with Wi-Fi), tap "Add Device" in the app. Hold your phone near the cooker and follow the pairing instructions to link it.

Start a cook from the app

With a connected cooker, pick a recipe and tap "Send to cooker." The Instant Pot sets the time and pressure automatically — you still have to add the ingredients and press Start on the cooker itself.
