    Open Zocdoc and enter your info

    Go to zocdoc.com or download the Zocdoc app. Enter your ZIP code, insurance plan, and what kind of doctor you need (like primary care or dermatologist).

    Review the list of doctors

    Zocdoc shows a list of matching doctors with photos, reviews, and the soonest available appointment. Click any doctor to see more details, including their background and patient reviews.

    Pick an available time slot

    Each doctor shows open appointment times as green buttons. Click the time and date that works for you — in-person visits and video visits are both shown.

    Enter your name and insurance

    Fill in your name, date of birth, phone number, and insurance details. Zocdoc verifies your insurance automatically to make sure the doctor takes it.

    Confirm the appointment

    Click Book. You will get a confirmation email and a text reminder. If you need to reschedule or cancel, do it in the Zocdoc app. It is faster than calling the office.
