    How to Make a Free Video Call on WhatsApp

    Tap the video camera icon at the top right of the chat. The call will start ringing. Wait for the person to answer.

    Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi for the best quality. Video calls use a lot of mobile data.

    You will see the other person on your screen and a small preview of yourself. You can mute your microphone, turn off your camera, or switch between front and back cameras using the buttons on screen.

    Warning

    WhatsApp video calls need a good internet connection. If the picture is blurry, try moving closer to your Wi-Fi router.
