    Download the Audiomack app

    ~24s
Search for "Audiomack" in the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android) and download the free app. Open it and you can start browsing immediately without creating an account. The home screen shows trending tracks and albums, curated playlists by genre, and featured artists. Tap any song or album cover to start playing.

    Quick Tip

You can also use Audiomack on any computer by going to audiomack.com in your web browser — no download needed.

    2

Create a free account to save music

    ~24s
While you can listen without an account, creating one lets you follow artists, save songs to your library, and build your own playlists. Tap "Sign Up" and enter your email address and a password, or sign up with your Google or Facebook account for speed. Account creation is free and takes about two minutes. Once signed in, tap the heart or "Save" icon on any song to add it to your library.
    3

Find music in your favorite genre

    ~30s
Tap the "Trending" section at the bottom of the app, then select a genre from the list — options include Hip-Hop & Rap, R&B & Soul, Afrobeats, Reggae, Gospel, Country, and more. The trending chart for each genre shows the top songs right now, updated daily. Tap a song to listen, or tap an artist's name to see their full catalog and follow them for new releases.

    Quick Tip

The "Discover" tab suggests music based on what you have already listened to, making it easier to find new artists you might enjoy.

    4

Download songs for offline listening (Premium)

    ~30s
If you want to listen without a Wi-Fi or cellular connection — such as on a flight or in an area with poor signal — Audiomack Premium lets you download songs to your phone. Premium costs a few dollars per month. To upgrade, tap your profile picture, then "Go Premium." Once subscribed, tap the download icon (an arrow pointing down) on any song, album, or playlist to save it for offline use.

    Warning

Downloaded songs are only available while your Premium subscription is active. If you cancel, downloaded music will no longer play offline.

    5

Follow artists and get new release alerts

    ~18s
Search for an artist you like by tapping the magnifying glass icon and typing their name. On their profile page, tap "Follow." Audiomack will notify you when that artist uploads new music. This is especially useful for independent artists who release music frequently and do not always make headlines in entertainment news.

Audiomack is a free music streaming platform that gives you access to millions of songs, albums, mixtapes, and playlists — with no monthly subscription fee. It is particularly popular for hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeats, reggae, and gospel music, and it is one of the best places to discover independent artists who are not yet on mainstream platforms.

Unlike Spotify or Apple Music, Audiomack does not require a credit card or paid plan to listen. You can create a free account or browse without signing in at all. The free tier includes all the music with occasional audio ads — similar to the free version of Spotify. There is an optional paid tier called Audiomack Premium that removes ads and lets you download music for offline listening, but many people find the free version completely sufficient.

Audiomack is known as a platform where artists upload their own music directly. This means you often find new songs and mixtapes on Audiomack days or weeks before they appear on other services. Many popular artists like Drake, Cardi B, and Burna Boy have released exclusive or early content there.

The app organizes music into trending charts by genre, so you can quickly find what is popular in the specific style you enjoy. You can follow artists and get notified when they upload new music. The "Trending" section updates daily and is a reliable way to discover what is catching on in your favorite genres.

Audiomack works on iPhone, Android, and in a web browser on your computer. Listening on a computer does not require any download — go to audiomack.com and start playing. On mobile, download the app for the best experience, including background playback so the music keeps going when your screen locks.

For anyone who wants to explore beyond mainstream radio without paying for a subscription, Audiomack is one of the most generous free options available.
