Quick Tip: Look at how many credits a class you're interested in costs before picking your plan. Popular studios in prime time slots use more credits than smaller studios at off-peak hours.

If you need to cancel, do it at least 12 hours before the class starts. Late cancellations and no-shows result in a credit penalty charged to your account.

Finding a fitness class you enjoy is half the battle of staying active. The problem is that most studios require a month-to-month membership or drop-in fees that add up quickly when you're still figuring out what you like. ClassPass solves that by giving you a credit-based membership you can use at hundreds of different studios and gyms in your city.
With ClassPass, you pay for a monthly bundle of credits rather than signing up for any single gym. Each class costs a certain number of credits depending on the studio and time slot — popular evening classes cost more credits than off-peak morning spots. A typical entry-level plan starts around $19 to $29 per month and includes enough credits for three to five classes.
The ClassPass app shows all available classes near you on a map or list view. You can filter by class type, time, distance, and even instructor rating. Once you find something interesting, booking takes about 30 seconds. The app sends a reminder before your class and lets you cancel up to 12 hours in advance without penalty.
ClassPass works at yoga studios, cycling studios, Pilates reformer classes, barre, boxing gyms, martial arts schools, swimming pools, and regular gyms. The variety makes it ideal for people who like mixing different workouts throughout the week.
One thing worth knowing: the credits roll over partially each month (ClassPass allows up to a certain amount of rollover), but unused credits beyond that limit expire. It's worth planning your classes early in the month so you use what you've paid for.
ClassPass also includes a selection of on-demand video classes you can do at home if you don't make it to a studio — a nice backup option for busy or rainy weeks.
