    How to Connect a Bluetooth Device on Mac

    Open Bluetooth settings

    Go to System SettingsBluetooth, or click the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar.

    Turn on Bluetooth

    Make sure Bluetooth is turned on using the toggle.

    Put device in pairing mode

    On your Bluetooth device, hold the pairing button until the LED flashes.

    Quick Tip

    Most Bluetooth devices have a small button you hold for 3-5 seconds. A flashing light usually means it is ready to pair.

    Connect

    Your device will appear under "Nearby Devices." Click "Connect" next to it.

    Warning

    Only pair devices you recognize. Decline any unexpected pairing requests from unknown devices.
