    How to Connect to a Bluetooth Device on Windows

    Pair headphones, speakers, mice, and other Bluetooth devices with your Windows PC.

    Turn on Bluetooth

    Open Quick Settings (click the Wi-Fi/sound area in the taskbar) and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.

    Put your device in pairing mode

    On your Bluetooth device, hold the pairing button (usually for 3-5 seconds) until the LED flashes.

    Quick Tip

    If the device does not appear, turn Bluetooth off and on again on your PC, then try searching again.

    Add the device

    Go to SettingsBluetooth & DevicesAdd DeviceBluetooth. Your device should appear in the list.

    Click to pair

    Click your device name to pair. Some devices may ask for a confirmation code.

    Warning

    Only pair devices you own or trust. Unknown Bluetooth devices could potentially access your computer.

    Set as default

    For audio devices, go to Sound Settings and set the Bluetooth device as your default output or input.
