    How to Forward an Email to Someone Else

    Received an email you want to share with someone? Forwarding sends a copy of the whole email to another person in two clicks.

    Open the email you want to forward

    Find the email in your inbox and click or tap on it to open it.

    Click Forward

    Look for the "Forward" button. In Gmail it is at the bottom of the email or in the three-dot menu. In Outlook it is in the toolbar at the top.

    Add the recipient

    Type the email address of the person you want to forward the email to in the "To" field.

    Add a note and send

    You can type a short note above the forwarded message, such as "Thought you might find this useful." Then click Send.

    Check the forwarded email before sending. It includes the full original message, which may contain information you did not intend to share.
