    Essential iPhone Privacy Settings Everyone Should Check

    Stop app tracking

    Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track." This prevents apps from following your activity across other apps and websites.

    Review location access

    Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services. Check each app. Change "Always" to "While Using" or "Never" for apps that don't need your location.

    Limit ad tracking

    Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising. Turn off Personalized Ads. Apple will show you fewer targeted advertisements.

    Check camera and microphone access

    Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera (and Microphone). Review which apps have access. Remove access for apps that don't need it.

    Use Sign in with Apple

    When apps offer "Sign in with Apple," use it. Apple creates a unique email relay that hides your real email address from the app developer.

    Enable Lockdown Mode (advanced)

    Settings > Privacy & Security > Lockdown Mode. This extreme protection mode blocks most message attachments, web technologies, and incoming calls from unknown numbers. Only use if you face serious threats.
