    Minimize and maximize

    Use the buttons in the top-right corner: minimize (—), maximize (□), and close (X).

    Snap windows side by side

    Drag a window to the left or right edge of the screen to snap it to half the display. Or press ⊞ Win+Left/Right arrow.

    Use Snap Layouts

    Hover over the maximize button to see Snap Layouts — choose from 2, 3, or 4 window arrangements.

    Switch between windows

    Press Alt+Tab to quickly cycle through open windows. Hold Alt and press Tab repeatedly to choose.

    Use virtual desktops

    Press ⊞ Win+Ctrl+D to create a new virtual desktop. Switch between them with ⊞ Win+Ctrl+Left/Right arrows.
