Create your account

Go to medicare.gov and click "Log in to your Medicare account." If you don't have an account, click "Create an account." You will need your Medicare number (on your red, white, and blue card).

View your claims and what Medicare paid, see your coverage details, find doctors and hospitals that accept Medicare, and compare Medicare Advantage and Part D plans.

Check your claims

After a doctor visit, the claim appears in your account (usually within a few weeks). You can see what was charged, what Medicare paid, and what you may owe.

Find a doctor

Use the "Find Care" tool to search for doctors, hospitals, and other providers near you that accept Medicare.

Call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227) for help with your account or benefits. TTY users can call 1-877-486-2048. Help is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
