Set up online banking

Visit your bank's website and click "Enroll" or "Sign Up for Online Banking." You will need your account number, Social Security number (last 4), and contact information.

Download the mobile app

Search for your bank in the App Store or Google Play. Download the official app only. Sign in with your new online banking credentials.

Check balances and transactions

The main screen shows your account balances. Tap an account to see recent transactions. Review regularly for any charges you don't recognize.

Pay bills online

Look for "Bill Pay" in your banking app. Add a payee (like your electric company). Enter the amount and date. The bank sends payment electronically or by check — you never mail a check again.

Transfer money

Use the Transfer feature to move money between your accounts. For sending to other people, use Zelle (built into most banking apps) for free instant transfers.

Deposit checks from home

Stay secure
