How to Find the Best Ticket Deals with SeatGeek

SeatGeek compares ticket prices across multiple sellers and gives each listing a "Deal Score" so you can tell at a glance if you're getting a good price.

    1

    Download and open SeatGeek

    ~15s
Search for "SeatGeek" in the App Store or Google Play. Install the free app and create an account with your email or Google login. You can also use seatgeek.com on any computer.
    2

    Find your event

    ~15s
Tap the Search icon and type the artist name, team, or venue. SeatGeek will show upcoming events. Tap the event you want to attend.
    3

    Read the Deal Score

    ~22s
On the ticket listing page, look for the Deal Score badge next to each listing. A score above 70 (shown in green) means it's a better deal than average for that event. A score below 40 (shown in red or orange) means it's overpriced compared to similar seats.

    Quick Tip

Scroll through a few pages of listings to find the best-scoring tickets for your preferred area of the venue.

    4

    Use the seat map

    ~16s
Tap "View Seat Map" to see the color-coded pricing across the entire venue. Green sections are the least expensive; red sections are the most expensive. Tap any section to see available tickets and their Deal Scores. This makes it much faster to find value in different seating areas.
    5

    Purchase and access tickets

    ~22s
Tap the listing you want, review the total all-in price, and tap "Buy Now." Enter your payment information. SeatGeek sends a confirmation email. Access your tickets in the "Tickets" tab of the app. You can transfer tickets to Apple Wallet for quick entry at the venue.

    Quick Tip

SeatGeek often has a referral discount for first-time buyers — check the app for a promo code when you create your account.

SeatGeek is a ticket marketplace and price comparison app that makes it easier to find good deals on concert, sports, and theater tickets. Its standout feature is the "Deal Score" — a rating from 0 to 100 on every listing that tells you whether the price is below average (a good deal) or above average (expensive) compared to similar seats at the same event.

Green Deal Score badges mean the price is below average — those seats are a relative bargain. Red badges mean it's above average — you might find better prices if you wait or look at other sections. This system takes out the guesswork of trying to figure out if a ticket price is fair.

SeatGeek also shows a clean, color-coded seat map that displays pricing for every section at once. You can see at a glance which sections are affordable and which are expensive without tapping each listing individually.

Like other ticket platforms, SeatGeek includes service fees. These are typically shown as "all-in" pricing so you see the final total upfront, which many users appreciate.

SeatGeek has its own exclusive deals and is the official ticketing partner for several sports teams and music festivals, which means some tickets are sold at face value with no markup.
