    Go to Gmail

    Open your web browser and go to gmail.com. Click "Create account" at the bottom of the sign-in page.

    Enter your first name and last name. Choose a username (this becomes your email address, e.g., yourname@gmail.com). Choose a strong password and confirm it.

    Your username cannot be changed later, so choose carefully. Simple names like john.smith may already be taken.

    Enter a phone number and an alternative email address. These help you get back into your account if you forget your password.
