Go to the Netflix website

Open a web browser on your phone, tablet, or computer. Go to netflix.com. You will see a big red button that says "Get Started" or "Sign Up."

Choose a plan

Netflix has a few different plans at different prices. The basic plan lets you watch on one screen. The standard plan lets you watch on two screens at the same time. Pick the one that works for you.

If you are the only one using the account, the basic plan is a great choice to save money.

Create your account

Enter your email address and create a password. Make sure you pick a password you can remember. Write it down somewhere safe if you need to.

Add a payment method

Enter your credit card, debit card, or other payment information. Netflix will charge you once a month. You can cancel anytime without a fee.

Netflix will start charging after your first billing period. Set a reminder if you want to try it out before committing.

Start watching

Once your account is set up, you can watch on your computer, phone, tablet, or smart TV. Open the Netflix app or go to netflix.com and sign in with your email and password.
