Open Mission Control
~15sSwipe up with three or four fingers on the trackpad, or press Ctrl+Up Arrow.

Add a new desktop
~15sClick the + button in the top-right corner of Mission Control to create a new desktop Space.

Switch between desktops
~15sSwipe left or right with three fingers on the trackpad, or press Ctrl+Left/Right arrows.

Move windows between desktops
~15sIn Mission Control, drag a window to another desktop at the top of the screen.

Close a desktop
~15sIn Mission Control, hover over a desktop thumbnail and click the X to close it.
