    How to Use Remote Desktop on Windows

    Access your Windows PC remotely from another computer or device.

    Enable Remote Desktop

    Go to SettingsSystemRemote Desktop → toggle it On. Note your PC name shown below.

    Configure network settings

    Make sure both PCs are on the same network, or set up port forwarding on your router for external access.

    Connect from another PC

    On the other PC, search for "Remote Desktop Connection," enter the PC name or IP address, and click Connect.

    Sign in

    Enter your Windows username and password to access the remote PC.

    Use the remote session

    You'll see the remote PC's desktop. The toolbar at the top lets you minimize, adjust settings, or disconnect.
