Search for "Waze" in the App Store or Google Play Store. Download it for free and open it. Allow Waze to access your location.

Start your drive

Tap "Go" to start navigation. Waze will give you voice-guided turn-by-turn directions. It automatically picks the fastest route based on real-time traffic.

Waze gets traffic information from other Waze users on the road. The more people use it, the better the traffic data.

Watch for alerts

Waze warns you about traffic jams, accidents, police, road closures, and speed cameras. These alerts come from other drivers using the app.

Save frequent destinations

Save your home and work addresses in Waze so you can quickly navigate to them with one tap. Go to "My Waze" and add your saved places.
