When you hear a song you like — on the radio, in a store, on TV, or anywhere — open Shazam and tap the big Shazam button in the center. Hold your phone toward the music and wait a few seconds.

See the results

Shazam will show you the song name, artist, and album. You can also see the lyrics, listen to a preview, or open the song in a music app like Spotify or Apple Music.

Shazam saves every song you identify. Tap the Library or History section to see all the songs you have discovered. It is a great way to build a list of new music to listen to.
