Download the Walgreens app or go to walgreens.com

    ~16s
On your phone, open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android) and search for "Walgreens." Download the free app. Alternatively, on a computer, open a web browser and go to walgreens.com. Both options lead to the same photo ordering system.
    2

    Find the Photo Center

    ~20s
In the app, tap the menu icon (three lines) or look for "Photo" near the top of the home screen. On the website, look for "Photo" in the top navigation bar. Tap or click it to enter the Walgreens Photo Center.

    Quick Tip

The app often shows a "Photo" shortcut directly on the home screen — look for a camera icon.

    3

Choose your product and upload photos

    ~15s
Select "Prints" for standard photo prints, then choose your size (4x6 is the most affordable at roughly $0.35 each). Tap "Upload Photos" and choose photos from your phone's camera roll. You can select multiple photos at once. Tap the checkmark when done selecting.
    4

    Review your photos and quantities

    ~21s
You'll see a preview of each photo. Check that they look the way you expect. Tap the plus or minus buttons to choose how many copies of each photo you want. When you're satisfied, tap "Continue" or "Add to Cart."

    Warning

Check that your photos are not blurry or very dark before ordering. What you see in the preview is close to what will print.

    5

    Choose pickup or delivery

    ~16s
Select "Store Pickup" to pick up at a nearby Walgreens — usually ready in about an hour. Or select "Ship to Home" if you want the prints mailed to your address. For pickup, type your zip code to find the nearest location and choose a pickup time.
    6

    Complete your order

    ~15s
Sign in to your Walgreens account or create a free one. Review your order total, then enter your payment information (credit or debit card). Tap "Place Order." You'll get an email confirmation and another email when your prints are ready for pickup.

Printing photos has never been more convenient. With the Walgreens app or website, you can turn the photos on your phone into real, physical prints that you can hold, frame, or mail to family — and pick them up at your nearest Walgreens store in as little as one hour.

Walgreens offers standard 4x6 prints (around $0.35 each), larger sizes like 5x7 and 8x10, and specialty products like photo books, canvas prints, mugs, and calendars. All products are available for in-store pickup. Many items can also be shipped directly to your home.

The most common use is ordering a set of 4x6 prints to share with family members who prefer physical photos. You choose the photos from your phone, pick your quantity and size, select your nearby Walgreens, and they're usually ready in about an hour.

You can order using the Walgreens app on your phone or by going to walgreens.com on a computer. Both options work the same way. The app tends to be easier if you're ordering from photos already on your phone.

Before placing your first order, you'll need a free Walgreens account. You can create one when you check out — all you need is an email address. If you already have a Walgreens rewards card (myWalgreens), use the same account you registered for that.

When picking up your order at the store, look for the Photo Center counter, usually near the pharmacy or the back of the store. Tell them your name and they'll retrieve your prints. Payment is usually made at pickup.

For printed photos to look their best, use photos taken with your phone's main camera in good lighting. Blurry photos or photos taken far away from the subject may look pixelated when printed at larger sizes. For 4x6 prints, almost any modern phone photo will look great.
