Open Settings and find Font Size

    ~26s
Open the Settings app. Depending on your phone brand: Samsung Galaxy — tap Display > Font Size and Style. Google Pixel — tap Accessibility > Text and Display > Font Size. Most other Android phones — tap Display > Font Size, or tap Accessibility > Font Size.

    Quick Tip

If you cannot find the font size setting, open Settings and use the search bar at the top. Type "font" or "text size" and it will take you right there.

Drag the slider to make text bigger

    ~15s
Once you find the Font Size slider, drag it to the right to increase the text. As you move the slider, a preview shows what text will look like at that size. Release the slider and the change applies immediately.

Make everything bigger — icons and all

    ~18s
For Samsung: go to Settings > Display > Screen Zoom to make icons and images bigger too, not just text. For Pixel: go to Settings > Display > Display Size. Increasing the display size makes the entire screen easier to see.

Turn on Magnification to zoom in anywhere

    ~24s
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Magnification and turn it on. Once enabled, you can triple-tap anywhere on the screen to zoom in — great for reading a small menu, a price tag on a website, or a tiny phone number.

    Warning

Magnification stays on until you triple-tap again to zoom back out. If your screen suddenly seems zoomed in and stuck, triple-tap the screen with one finger to return to normal.
