Check if your phone is compatible

Go to visible.com and click "Bring your phone" or look for the BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) option. Enter your phone's IMEI number — find it by dialing *#06# on your phone or going to Settings > About Phone > IMEI. Visible will tell you whether your phone is compatible and which SIM or eSIM option to use. If your phone is not compatible, Visible also sells phones directly.

Choose your plan and sign up

Create an account with your email address, enter your shipping address for the SIM card (or set up an eSIM if your phone supports it), and add a payment method. Visible bills month-to-month with no contract.

Activate your SIM or eSIM

If Visible is shipping a physical SIM card, it usually arrives in two to three business days. When it arrives, insert the SIM into your phone's SIM tray, then open the Visible app to complete activation. If you are setting up an eSIM, the Visible app will guide you through downloading and installing it digitally. During activation, you will choose whether to transfer your existing number or get a new one.

Transfer your phone number (optional)

If you want to keep your current number, select "Transfer my number" during activation. You will need your old carrier account number and account PIN — both are available by logging in to your old carrier's account online or calling their customer service. The transfer typically takes one to four hours. Your old service is automatically canceled when the transfer completes.

Warning

Do not cancel your old phone service manually before the number transfer completes. Canceling too early can cause you to lose your phone number permanently.

Manage your account through the Visible app

The app is your main control panel — use it to pay your monthly bill, change your plan, check your data usage, report problems, and contact Visible's chat-based customer support. There is no phone number to call for support; all help is through the app's chat feature or visible.com.
